Target Population
The Texas Campaign for Women’s Health will assist adult women ages 19-64.
The type of individual women who will benefit from the campaign includes:
- women who are employed, but without health insurance benefits - the working poor
- women who have recently gone off public assistance
- low-income women without access to affordable health care
- women of child-bearing age who do not have access to health screening and birth control services
- women who have passed the age of child-bearing, but who need cancer screening, hormone replacement therapy and osteoporosis prevention education
- women under age 50 who need mammography screening for breast cancer
