Job Announcement: Chief Executive Officer

Location: Austin, Texas

WHFPT, a statewide professional association, seeks an energetic and enthusiastic new Chief Executive Officer. Responsibilities include:

• Working with the Board of Trustees to develop and monitor major legislative strategy,
• Representing the association's interests in the Texas Legislature and Congress, before state regulatory and funding agencies, and to the press and public
• Developing and maintaining membership
• Communicating with the membership on matters of importance
• Coalition building
• Fundraising and grant-writing
• Planning and implementing workshops and conferences
• Providing financial oversight and supervision of support staff

Salary and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid leave and retirement.
